Offset is set to release his brand new album, Set It Off, on October 13, but he’s starting things off with a preview of a track called “Fan,” that arrived with a music video that pays tribute to Michael Jackson.

For the album cover’s visual, Offset is seen wearing a black suit with sunglasses, white socks and a white glove, replicating one of Jackson’s signature looks, as he falls upside down, awat from a street of exploding buildings and cars above him.

In the video, directed by the rapper himself, Offset wears the same MJ signature look in one scene, while giving “Thriller” vibes in another, as shenanigans ensue.

“I’ve been working on this project for over two years now. This season is personal for me. It marks a new chapter in my life,” Offset said about the project in a statement “I feel like Michael Jackson coming from a successful group breaking records to superstardom on my own. This body of work is healing for me and a letter to my fans and supporters.”

A follow up to 2019’s Father of 4, and his first album since the death of Migos member Takeoff, Set It Off will also feature Offset’s collab single with Cardi B, “Jealousy,” in addition to his recent release. Check out “Fan” below.
