Dwayne Johnson has been knocked down a peg and is no longer the highest paid celebrity on Instagram.

For those that are unaware, celebrities and influencers are often paid to post sponsored content on the social media platform and UK-based planning tool Hopper HQ puts out its annual list of the top earners.
According to the 2021 “Instagram Rich List,” Ronaldo gets paid more than $1.6 million per sponsored post, while Johnson will has to settle for second place by taking in a measly $1.523 million for his sponsored content. Your vacation selfies could never!
Rounding out the top 5 is Selena Gomez, who manages to make ends meet by raking in $1,468,000 per post. How does she do it?
On top of losing out on Instagram cash at the hands of Ronaldo, Johnson also lost his title as the most followed man on the platform to the futbol king. According to Instagram, Ronaldo currently has 322 million followers, while Johnson has to make due with his 259 million strong fanbase.
Now if you’re feeling bad for Johnson, there’s really no reason. The former wrestler-turned-movie star is still currently the highest paid actor in Hollywood, according to Forbes. The “Jungle Cruise” star earned $87.5 million last year, per the outlet.
