For those who need reminding - today is in fact Thursday, and more than that, thanks to alliteration and Instagram it's #ThirstTrapThursday.

Now speaking directly to those of you who were adults the first time low rise jeans were a thing, according to Urban Dictionary, a thirst trap is a "sexy photograph or flirty message posted on social media." Some definitions argue that thirst traps are inherently attention-seeking, referring to a user's "thirst" as a colloquialism likening sexual frustration to dehydration. Or simply that the goal is to motivate likes and slides in the DM. Ummm… yeah, and what about it?
There's nothing nonchalant about setting up a thirst trap, well unless you're Kendall or Kylie Jenner, both of whom know there's an art to creating a viral, jaw-dropping moment. Thought goes into every take - the pose, the background, the wardrobe (or lack there of), the caption - everything must come together perfectly to entice what we're ultimately all after - Thirst! Oh and likes of course.
While celebs don't need or reserve a particular day of the week to share their thirst inducing pics with the masses, there's something nice about waiting for this particular day of the week to show off your assets (insert winky face emoji).
But since IG's algorithm doesn't even care what day it is when you see a pic on your feed, we'll settle with simply using the day to present you with a collection of what in our expert opinion are some of this weeks top thirst traps.

Yasss! SelGo did THAT! Though she keeps her IG strictly business, which this swimsuit collab actually is, we appreciate and are always here for an unexpected slay.
2.Kourtney Kardashian

"Vegas was lit" and so is this fit. On another note, lets all (virtually) hold hands and collectively thank the internet for making it pretty much impossible for whatever happens in Vegas to stay in Vegas. Amen.
