Packers defeat Panthers on Saturday Primetime

Green Bay, WI- The Green Bay Packers improve to 11-3 on the season after defeating the Carolina Panthers 24-16 on Saturday night at Lambeau Field.

With his lone touchdown pass of the night, Aaron Rodgers became the first quarterback in NFL history to throw 40 or more touchdowns passes in three different seasons (2011, 2016, 2020). He also rushed for a touchdown in the win.


Rodgers’ 40th touchdown of the season was a one-yard pass to Robert Tonyan. Tonyan now has 10 touchdowns receptions on the season.

Aaron Jones had a big night on the ground as he rushed for 145 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries. The Packers finished with 195 total rushing yards as a team.

Mason Crosby hit his only field goal attempt tonight from 51 yards out. He is now 16/16 on field goals this year.

The Packers will remain in Green Bay as the Tennessee Titans head to town for a Sunday Night matchup next week. Kickoff set for 7:20 pm.
