Meet Emmie! She is a one year old Terrier mix who is available for adoption at the Virginia Beach SPCA! Her previous owner lost her eyesight and couldn't take care of Emmie anymore. Now Emmie is ready for her second chance. Emmie is a little shy at first but warms up very quickly. She loves to play with other dogs and would do great with a canine companion who doesn't mind her rough-and-tumble play style. Emmie will need some leash training and some help finishing up the housebreaking and crate training process, but she should be a fast learner since she is very treat motivated. Emmie is still very much a puppy and would do best in an active household. Any children in her home should be ages 10 or older.
