Taneya J. Thomas, a 2008 Norfolk State University graduate and native of Chesapeake, Virginia, was recently announced as Naval Support Activity (NSA) Hampton Roads' Junior Civilian of the Quarter.
"It is an incredible honor to be selected as Junior Civilian of the Quarter," said Thomas. "This opportunity is a humbling experience and provides me with a moment of reflection on an amazing journey working with children at Child and Youth Programs."
Thomas received this award based on a willingness to take on additional tasks, the ability to provide exceptional customer service and their excellent leadership skills that resulted in impactful changes for the Child and Youth Programs. Thomas' vast knowledge of essential systems and manuals also contributed to receiving this recognition.
