On the road right now, continuing their celebration of 2021's Music Of The Spheres, Coldplay has been bringing their incredible -- and sustainable -- world tour to every corner of the globe, including their home of the U.K. as well as Europe, Asia, North and South America, and planned shows in Australia and New Zealand. In that time Chris Martin & Co. have managed to make history, according to Billboard's Boxscore. The numbers state that, after grossing $945.7 million and selling 8.8 million tickets since March 2022, Coldplay's Music Of The Spheres World Tour is the highest-grossing and best-selling among all Rock acts in almost 40 years of tracking.

Coldplay's highest-grossing milestone now moves Elton John’s Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour one step down Billboard's impressive Top 10 list, followed by U2’s U2 360 Tour, Guns N' Roses' Not In This Lifetime... Tour, The Rolling Stones, AC/DC, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Roger Waters.

Coldplay also tops Billboard's best-selling tour list, knocking U2 out of the number-one spot after 13 years with 8.82 million tickets sold between 2022 and 2024. Swipe above for details.

With their highly-anticipated tenth studio album, Moon Music, arriving in stores and streaming services on October 4, there seems no slowing the band down as they continue to give fans plenty of reasons to celebrate.

Though frontman Chris Martin has stated that he expects the band to stop offering up new albums by 2025, Coldplay still has a few tricks up their sleeves -- including more music and a musical film -- to keep them at the top of the charts for the foreseeable future.
