
Dick Van Dyke is ringing in his 99th year in style.

The iconic actor and comedian, who will turn 99 on December 13, can be seen celebrating life to the fullest with an appearance in Coldplay’s new, longform music video for their song, "ALL MY LOVE," out now. Van Dyke’s performance proves age is just a number as he appears in tip-top shape dancing, singing, and performing with a smile alongside Chris Martin.
Filmed at Van Dykes’ home in Malibu, the video pays homage to Van Dyke’s more than 70 year career by showcasing some of his most well-known clips and photos alongside a few of his biggest accomplishments including his four Emmy awards. Additionally, Van Dyke can be seen joyous as ever dancing with wife, Arlene Silver, before being joined by his entire family for a big embrace.
In a recent interview, CNN reports Van Dyke reflected on his gratitude for such a successful career getting to do what he loves most. “I think I’m one of those lucky people who got to do for a living what I would have done anyway,” he shared. “When you think how lucky I am – I got to do what I do, play and act silly.”
He continued on to share living such a a life of fulfillment has made him content in his senior years as he doesn’t fear what's next. “I’m acutely aware that I could go any day now, but I don’t know why, it doesn’t concern me, I’m not afraid of it,” he shared after reciting his favorite line from “ALL MY LOVE,” which reads, “Until I die, let me hold you if you cry.”
“I have that feeling, totally against anything intellectual, that I’m going to be alright,” he concluded.
Coldplay’s longform video featuring Van Dyke is available now, a shorter version will be released December 13 to honor the Van Dyke on the actual date of his birth.
