With the new season of Cuoco's HBO Max series "The Flight Attendant" set to debut this week, the actress is divulging some of the surprise elements that occurred while filming.

Stone is on board for this new season playing the mother to Cuoco’s character, Cassie Bowden, and it sounds like they’ll have a rough relationship. In fact, it got a little too rough for Cuoco during the filming of one particular scene with Stone, as she explained on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”

"Before we started the scene, she sat me down and said, ‘Hey, how do you feel about me touching you in this scene?’ I said, ‘Whatever you want to do Sharon. You are Sharon Stone. You do what you want to do. I’m just so happy you’re here.’ She goes ‘Great,'" Cuoco told Kimmel.

Cuoco then noted how the "Basic Instinct" star went off script and got physical.

"She was supposed to say, 'I like you, but I don't love you very much,'" Cuoco added. "That's what she is supposed to say. She says this line to me, she grabs my face, and she whacks me!"

The crew was reportedly just as stunned as Cuoco at the improvised smack, but they caught it all, and Cuoco had to admit the scene was “Emmy-worthy.”

Stone made sure to quickly apologize, but like any young actor might be, Cuoco was actually honored to be on the receiving end of the shocking actorly choice of such a legend.

"Sharon comes back and said, 'Oh my God, I love you. It just felt right for the scene," Cuoco said. "I was like, 'That was incredible. Whoa!' So I'm like, 'I just got b****-slapped by Sharon Stone.'"

As is often the case, the crew had to set up for another take in order to get a different angle to catch Stone’s reaction to the slap. And wouldn’t you know it, on the second take Stone slapped Cuoco full-on again. As if that wasn't enough, Stone did it a third time even though the cameras were not pointed at Cuoco at all.

At that point, Cuoco seemed to have had enough.

"She slaps me again!" Cuoco exclaimed. "Three times I got slapped. Wasn't even me in the third take."

Despite the multiple slaps, Cuoco found the entire experience of working with Stone a positive one.

“She was one of the most wonderful people though. It was as real as it could get,” Cuoco said.

"The Flight Attendant" premieres April 21 on HBOMax.
