Danan Hughes will be the new analyst next to Mitch Holthus in the booth. He was selected by the Chiefs in the 7th round of the 1993 NFL Draft. Hughes was a wide receiver in Kansas City for six seasons. Since retiring, the Iowa grad has worked in broadcasting and has been a football and baseball analyst for the Big Ten Network since 2008.
Joe Mays is a former Chiefs linebacker who played his college football at North Dakota State and was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the sixth round of the 2008 NFL Draft. Mays also played for the Broncos, Texans, and Chargers.
