Chiefs' Byron Pringle explains how partnership with Pringles came together

Byron Pringle's had a big week since the Baltimore game. After catching his first touchdown of the season in the Chiefs' 36-35 loss, Pringle announced this week that he'd partnered with Pringles, for reasons that probably don't need to be pointed out here. While talking with 610's Cody and Gold on Thursday, Pringle explained how it all came together.

"Growing up, people always talked about my last name," he said. "But I never really got upset or anything like that about it. I'm lucky that I had that last name, since Pringles wanted to do a deal with me. When I was in high school, my high school yearbook teacher, she used to always, after every win, on Monday, would come into class and have a different flavor of Pringles can waiting for me. And at the end of the year, she'd take one picture and put it in the year book. I always said I would get that deal one day."
