According to a report from ESPN, the Chiefs are making a notable addition to their wide receiver room. On Monday afternoon, Adam Schefter tweeted out that former All-Pro wide receiver Josh Gordon is signing with Kansas City:
Gordon, whose eight-year career includes stints in Cleveland, New England, and Seattle, is currently being reinstated following a 2019 violation of the league's substance abuse and performance-enhancing drug policies. Schefter had previously reported that despite Gordon's extended time away from football, the receiver could be ready to make his debut in Week 4. At 30 years old, Gordon has over 4200 career receiving yards with 20 touchdowns. He was named to the All-Pro team in 2013 after leading the league in receiving yards (1,646) while playing in just 14 games.
