By now, it's clear that Ndamukong Suh's time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is up. In fact, Suh went as far as tweeting essentially that, which kicked the standard online speculation into full gear. Would Suh, who's 35 and entering his 13th year in the league, make any sense for the Chiefs' defensive line? Speaking to 610's The Drive earlier this week, Chiefs Insider and Arrowhead Pride Editor In Chief Pete Sweeney threw some cold water on the idea.
"I'm not sure about Suh right now," he said. "I tend to think that the Chiefs need to add veteran bodies there, but there's a couple other guys where it seems like they could be available that I would prefer. This is someone that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers identified and opted to move on. So when something like that happens, I tend to think, maybe leave him there and go after someone that had more production a little bit more recently."
