Here are our game predictions from our on-air personalities, producers, writers and more. Julie DiCaro and Tony Gill sit in a first-place tie at 6-2.
The Bears say they can bounce back. A home game against the Lions offers that chance. But if they can’t win this one…
The Bears-Lions matchup in Week 10 in 2018 has taken on mythical status lately. Ever since Mitchell Trubisky invented the forward pass in that game, the Bears offense hasn’t been the same. How bad is this Lions defense if people are saying this is a good matchup for the Bears? Apparently just bad enough, as I’m picking the Bears to win, even though I have no reason to do so.
Mitchell Trubisky looks great, and it doesn’t matter. Matthew Stafford and the Lions convert a two-point conversion for the win after scoring a touchdown as time expires. The darkness prevails.
Another first half like last week, and we will all turn our TVs off. The Lions have Stafford. The Bears have Trubisky.
Because why not?
The improving Lions don’t suck as much as we thought at the beginning of the season, but the city of Detroit still does. Matthew Stafford is having a good year while our quarterback in Chicago gets easily offended by outside chatter. I hope he doesn’t read this then.
Until the Bears stop sucking, I won’t be picking them. Pretty simple, right? I know that’s a negative, so I’ll offer a positive too: I will personally guaranteed the Bears gain double-digit yards in the first half.
Eagles fans pelted Santa Claus with snowballs and booed Donovan McNabb on draft day before he led Philadelphia to the Super Bowl and five NFC Championship games. Trubisky and Matt Nagy will be wishing they were playing in front of those fans again after their first three-and-out at Soldier Field.
Losing to a coach who looks like he slept in his car will be the cherry on top of this horrible Bears season.
Both teams only score touchdowns defensively.
The Bears could win this game, but I don’t trust them and the line play favors the Lions.
I’m kind of fresh out of a relationship. It’s sad. I have a horrible cold. I’ve had it for almost a month-and-a-half. My dog is starting to like one of my roommates more than she likes me. I need something to look forward to.
I asked the Lions for local product Kenny Golladay for our show, and they didn’t even respond. Bear down!
