Bears Donating $250K To COVID-19 Response Fund

(670 The Score) The Bears will be donating $250,000 to the Chicago Community COVID-19 Response Fund, they announced Friday.

The fund is a collaboration between the city of Chicago, the Chicago Community Trust and the United Way. It supports "local nonprofit organizations serving our region’s most vulnerable neighbors," the organization said.

The Bears are joining a number of other NFL teams in contributing to local charities amid the coronavirus pandemic. The team is encouraging others to make donations with what they can.
