Cubs, Sox Giving Refunds For Games Through May

(670 The Score) The Cubs and White Sox will each refund their ticket holders for games that were supposed to be played from Opening Day on March 26 through May 31.

Season-ticket holders who already put money down have a second option as well. Each team is offering the option for season-ticket holders to take 5% interest on the money that's being held if the consumer chooses to roll over the purchase and use it for a potential 2020 postseason or for the 2021 season.

The teams have also authorized a refund for individual game ticket purchases. Fans who purchased tickets using credit cards will see a credit on a future bill. Any other form of payment for individual tickets or season tickets will be refunded via a check. The Cubs plan to have all their refunds issued in the next two weeks. The White Sox plan to have all their refunds sent out in the next 30 days, if not sooner.
