David Haugh (2-4): Raiders 24, Bears 19
There's no reason to believe the Bears can win a game when they’ve mastered the art of losing. Tyson Bagent might play well – the hope here is he throws for 300 yards – but the Raiders are no slouch at 3-3 and their defense has given up fewer plays of 20 or more yards than any team in the NFL (10). Expect the Bears to lose again.
Danny Parkins (1-5): Bears 20, Raiders 17
Tyson Bagent against Aidan O’Connell or Brian Hoyer. Matt Eberflus against Josh McDaniels. This game falls on my birthday, and I think it’s in the Bears’ best interest to lose as many games as possible. So they’ll probably win if I have to spend my birthday watching this crappy game.
Matt Spiegel (4-2): Bears 24, Raiders 16
Tyson Bagent manages the game as Luke Getsy's scheme suddenly makes sense with the kind of quarterback he has wanted to run it. The Chicago defense shuts down a bad offense with a backup quarterback, and we're deep in the throes of a quarterback controversy once again.
Chris Tannehill (3-3): Raiders 27, Bears 17
I've liked everything I've heard from Tyson Bagent so far. The problem is none of us has seen much from Bagent. If you follow my often incorrect picks, you know that for me it all starts up front. Once again, the Bears’ offensive line has issues, from injury to snapping the ball. On the other side, the Raiders have one of the most disruptive pass rushers in the game in Maxx Crosby. Vegas has quarterback issues of its own and an unhappy star receiver, but I believe Davante Adams will get his wish and get plenty of targets Sunday. Score teammate and picks leader Evan Thomas has employed my 2022 strategy of fading the Bears, and I think that philosophy is back in style for me until proved otherwise.
Adam Studzinski (2-4): Raiders 5, Bears 3
I have no reason to think the Bears can win games anymore, so I'm just going to assume this game is going to be wholly terrible.
Chris Emma (3-3): Bears 24, Raiders 19
Tyson Bagent will lead the Bears to victory – and create more chaos in Chicago, a city that’s still uncertain about its quarterback play.
Evan Thomas (5-1): Raiders 21, Bears 17
This game looks like a cluster F on paper, but will it be? Will Tyson Bagent become the next backup sensation or will he fall flat? Can the Bears’ offensive line stymie the high motor of Raiders pass rusher Maxx Crosby? With all that said, I’m picking the Raiders.
Kevin Lapka (2-4): Raiders 21, Bears 13
If you’re among the 1% of football fans who marvel at ground-and-pound, old-school football, this game will be your Super Bowl. If you’re like the other 99% of people, you’re probably better off watching NFL RedZone and seven hours of commercial-free football.
