David Haugh (3-5): Saints 30, Bears 23
The Bears don’t seem as close as Matt Eberflus suggested, with their two most recent victories coming over teams that are unraveling. This hostile environment won’t help Tyson Bagent. The Saints aren’t great — but are good enough to beat one of the NFL’s worst teams.
Danny Parkins (3-5): Saints 27, Bears 13
I think the Bears offense is up for quite a challenge, and Chris Olave, Alvin Kamara and Rashid Shaheed have way too much speed for the Bears defense to contain.
Matt Spiegel (6-2): Saints 34, Bears 21
The Saints offense is equipped with lots of skill, and the defense doesn't allow much against the run. Plus, playing in that dome? Ooof, babe.
Chris Tannehill (4-4): Saints 34, Bears 26
This is a tough one to predict. If the Bears commit to running the ball and play disciplined on defense, they'll have a shot. I'm really excited to see how the addition of Montez Sweat affects the second and third levels of the Bears defense. At 4-4, the Saints are almost perfectly average. They rank middle- or bottom-of-the-pack on both sides of the ball. The Saints could easily be 7-1 or 0-8. They tend to keep games close and hang around in their losses. For the Saints, those factors combined with the advantage of playing at home against a team that just got blown out on national television will lead to a win as the Bears’ problems continue.
Adam Studzinski (3-5): Saints 2, Bears 0
I’m just going to assume the worst and hope for the best.
Chris Emma (5-3): Saints 27, Bears 13
The Bears will make it just two wins in their last five games, as Matt Eberflus would say.
Evan Thomas (6-2): Saints 31, Bears 13
The Bears are going to have a tough time competing and scoring in New Orleans as Tyson Bagent makes his third NFL start. The Bears have also had more drama this week with running backs coach David Walker getting fired. And despite the addition of edge rusher Montez Sweat, Chicago’s defensive line struggles to put pressure on opposing quarterbacks, so I think the Saints will easily handle the Bears.
Kevin Lapka (3-5): Saints 26, Bears 15
It's difficult to expect a win on the road for a Bears team that feels as dysfunctional as it was the week before it got throttled 41-10 by the Chiefs. Luckily, the Bears defense is significantly better than what it was in Week 3 and the Saints aren't the Chiefs. Nonetheless, the offense won't be enough against a solid Saints defense. Surprisingly, my predicted score isn’t a scorigami.
