(670 The Score) The Bears are taking a chance on a former first-round pick in an effort to improve their receiving corps.

The Bears have agreed to acquire receiver N'Keal Harry from the Patriots in exchange for a 2024 seventh-round pick, according to multiple reports Tuesday afternoon. Harry, 24, had just 57 receptions for 598 yards and four touchdowns in New England over three seasons. The Patriots had been seeking a trade for Harry, whom they selected with the No. 32 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.

Harry had just 12 catches for 184 yards and no scores in 2021 while filling a minimal role in the Patriots' offense.

In Chicago, Harry will join a Bears wide receiver group that hopes to establish continuity alongside top target Darnell Mooney. The Bears allowed veteran receiver Allen Robinson to depart in free agency this offseason.

The Bears signed receivers Equanimeous St. Brown and Byron Pringle in free agency and selected Velus Jones Jr. in the third round of the NFL Draft in late April.

The Bears will begin training camp on July 26 at Halas Hall.
