LAKE FOREST, Ill. (670 The Score) — Following a breakout game this past Sunday, Bears rookie receiver Rome Odunze on Thursday was added to the team's injury report.
Odunze was listed as a limited participant in practice Thursday due to a hip injury, a new ailment that likely occurred during practice. He had previously dealt with and played through an MCL sprain.
Further details regarding Odunze's status should be known Friday, when the Bears list their game designations for their matchup against the Rams on Sunday.
Bears receiver Keenan Allen (heel) remained a limited participant in practice after returning Wednesday. He has been dealing with plantar fasciitis and missed the team's last two games. Right tackle Darnell Wright (back), left tackle Braxton Jones (knee) and fullback Khari Blasingame (hand/knee) were also limited participants Thursday.
Veteran safety Kevin Byard (back) was added to the Bears' injury report Thursday and didn't practice. He has never missed a game in his NFL career. Pass rusher Darrell Taylor (knee/illness), cornerback Terell Smith (hip), defensive tackle Zacch Pickens (groin) and tight end Marcedes Lewis (rest) didn't practice.
Pro Bowl pass rusher Montez Sweat (elbow) and right guard Nate Davis (groin) each practiced in full Thursday.
The Bears (1-2) and Rams (1-2) will kick off at noon CT on Sunday at Soldier Field.
