CHICAGO (670 The Score) As the Bears prepared for the Raiders last week at Halas Hall, offensive line coach Chris Morgan put a video in front of some players.

It was “Slap Kabaddi,” a Pakistani sport in which two opponents score points by slapping one another. A winner is determined by the slapping score or when one of the foes has forfeited. Videos of these competitions have become viral Internet sensations for their entertaining aesthetics. Morgan’s exact motivations in showcasing this video weren't quite clear, but it inspired an idea for veteran running back D’Onta Foreman.

Ahead of his anticipated big workload Sunday, Foreman planned a Slap Kabaddi celebration if he were to score a touchdown. He then reached the end zone three times in the Bears’ 30-12 victory over the Raiders on Sunday at Soldier Field, with his first score featuring a seemingly unusual celebration with fullback Khari Blasingame.

“We kind of coordinated it through the week of practice, and it turned out pretty well,” Foreman said of the celebration.

“I definitely won. Threw him down and everything, slapped him when he got back up. I won.”

The 27-year-old Foreman rushed 16 times for 89 yards and two touchdowns in the Bears’ win while adding a receiving score as part of his strong effort. After being a healthy scratch for four games earlier this season, Foreman has emerged as a key figure in recent weeks for Chicago.

Foreman believes Morgan’s intention in sharing the video was to remind the Bears to play with great energy and focus. It also just so happened to spark a memorable end zone celebration.

“It was really funny,” Foreman said. “We just tried to take it and have fun with it.”
