(670 The Score) The Bears lost long snapper Scott Daly to a knee injury against the Jaguars on Sunday, leaving tight end Cole Kmet as the emergency fill-in long snapper.
Daly suffered the knee injury on the Bears' second punt of the game after Chicago went three-and-out offensively for the second time in as many series. The Bears quickly ruled out Daly for the remainder of the game.
Kmet hauled in a 31-yard touchdown reception early in the second quarter, then delivered a successful snap for the extra point.
Daly signed with the Bears at the start of the regular season after veteran long snapper Patrick Scales (back) opened the season on injured reserve. It's unclear when Scales will return to action.
