Bears left tackle Theo Benedet is inactive against Steelers

CHICAGO (670 The Score) Bears left tackle Theo Benedet won't play against the Steelers on Sunday.

Benedet is dealing with a quad injury and was ruled inactive prior to kickoff. The Bears are expected to start rookie Ozzy Trapilo at left tackle.

Benedet has started seven games this season. Trapilo would be making his first NFL start.

The Bears' other inactives are linebacker T.J. Edwards (hand/hamstring), linebacker Noah Sewell (elbow), running back Travis Homer (hamstring/knee), running back Roschon Johnson (thumb), defensive tackle Jonathan Ford and quarterback Case Keenum.

Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers (left wrist) is also inactive and won't play. Mason Rudolph will start at quarterback for Pittsburgh.

The Bears (7-3) and Steelers (6-4) will kick off at noon CT Sunday from Soldier Field.
