(670 The Score) The Bears on Tuesday placed three players on the reserve/COVID-19 list, bringing their number to five.

Bears nose tackle Eddie Goldman, cornerback Artie Burns and practice squad linebacker Sam Kamara each were placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list, joining offensive tackle Elijah Wilkinson and defensive lineman Mario Edwards Jr.

The Bears' current situation with the virus comes as the NFL and country at large deal with rising case numbers. On Monday, 36 players were placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list around the league.

The NFL sent a memo Monday requiring all tier 1 and 2 personnel to receive a booster shot by Dec. 27.
