Bears running back Roschon Johnson remains in concussion protocol

LAKE FOREST, Ill. (670 The Score) Bears running back Roschon Johnson remains in the concussion protocol, jeopardizing his status for Chicago's game against Minnesota on Sunday.

Johnson suffered a concussion in the Bears' 40-20 win over the Commanders last Thursday at FedEx Field. He wasn't cleared from the NFL's protocols by Wednesday late morning as the Bears returned to the practice field.

A fourth-round pick out of Texas in the NFL Draft in April, the rookie Johnson has carried 25 times for 122 yards and a touchdown in five games this season.

Bears offensive lineman Lucas Patrick also remains in the concussion protocol. Teven Jenkins could step in as the full-time starter at left guard once again.

The Bears (1-4) host the Vikings (1-4) on Sunday at Soldier Field. Kickoff is set for noon.
