LAKE FOREST, Ill. (670 The Score) — Bears running back Roschon Johnson remains in the concussion protocol, jeopardizing his status for Chicago's game against Minnesota on Sunday.
Johnson suffered a concussion in the Bears' 40-20 win over the Commanders last Thursday at FedEx Field. He wasn't cleared from the NFL's protocols by Wednesday late morning as the Bears returned to the practice field.
A fourth-round pick out of Texas in the NFL Draft in April, the rookie Johnson has carried 25 times for 122 yards and a touchdown in five games this season.
Bears offensive lineman Lucas Patrick also remains in the concussion protocol. Teven Jenkins could step in as the full-time starter at left guard once again.
The Bears (1-4) host the Vikings (1-4) on Sunday at Soldier Field. Kickoff is set for noon.
