(670 The Score) Bears pass rusher Robert Quinn and safety Tashaun Gipson on Wednesday were named the co-winners of the Chicago Media Jeff Dickerson Good Guy Award.

The award was renamed after the late Dickerson, a beloved ESPN reporter who died Dec. 28 at the age of 43 after a private battle with cancer. In conjunction with the Pro Football Writers of America, the recognition goes to a player who best accommodates the local media. The voting resulted in a tie between Quinn and Gipson.
"A man's got two things: his words and his nuts,” Quinn said of his candor. “You don't want to lose either as a man. I try to be as honest as I can when I talk to people."
The honor has been given since 2013. Each winner is recognized on a plaque inside the media room at Halas Hall.
