(670 The Score) Bears rookie running back Roschon Johnson remained in the concussion protocol as of Wednesday, putting him in jeopardy of missing his second straight game.
Johnson suffered a concussion in the Bears' 40-20 win over the Commanders on Oct. 5 and hasn’t played or practiced since. A fourth-round pick out of Texas in the NFL Draft in April, Johnson has carried 25 times for 122 yards and a touchdown in five games this season.
The Bears remain thin at running back, as starter Khalil Herbert remains in injured reserve with a high ankle sprain and reserve Travis Homer was a limited participant Wednesday due to a hamstring ailment. If Johnson can’t play Sunday, veteran D’Onta Foreman would once again be the Bears’ lead back. He rushed 15 times for 65 yards in Chicago’s loss to Minnesota this past Sunday.
In other injury news Wednesday, Bears safety Eddie Jackson was a limited participant in practice as he continues to deal with a foot injury. Jackson returned to action Sunday after missing three games with the injury, but he only played 14 snaps.
The Bears (1-5) host the Raiders (3-3) on Sunday at Soldier Field.
