(670 The Score) Bears safety Eddie Jackson feels "fine" after a knee injury scare during a 24-10 loss to the Rams on Monday night.
Jackson went down during the third quarter on a non-contact play after his left leg hit the SoFi Stadium turf with awkward contact. He returned to the game later and scored a touchdown in the fourth quarter on a forced fumble by pass rusher Robert Quinn.
"I'm fine," Jackson said. "I’m feeling good. It was just a little scare. But I knew it wasn’t nothing too serious and it started to calm down, I started to feel much better."
The Bears also believe center Cody Whitehair is "OK" after he left in the fourth quarter with a calf injury, coach Matt Nagy said.
Whitehair hadn't missed a snap since 2017 and had played all of the Bears' offensive snaps in 69 of his first 70 games prior to Monday night. Second-year offensive lineman Sam Mustipher stepped in for Whitehair.
The Bears fell to 5-2 with the loss.
