(670 The Score) Bears star pass rusher Khalil Mack is dealing with back soreness and didn't practice Friday afternoon.
Bears coach Matt Nagy downplayed the back issue for Mack, calling his absence from practice more of a "preventative" decision.
"I'm not really concerned right now," Nagy said.
The Bears also practiced without defensive lineman Akiem Hicks (illness), cornerback Buster Skrine (ankle) and special teams ace Sherrick McManis (hamstring). Hicks' illness isn't related to COVID-19, Nagy said, but the Bears are keeping him away from their facility as a precautionary measure.
Bears defensive lineman Bilal Nichols (knee) and safety Deon Bush (hamstring) were limited. The Bears practiced inside the Walter Payton Center, where Nichols has often been limited due to the hard turf surface.
The Bears (5-1) and Rams (4-2) will release their final injury reports Saturday. Kickoff between the two teams is set for Monday at 7:15 p.m. CT at SoFi Stadium.
