CHICAGO (670 The Score) -- The Bears on Tuesday placed nose tackle Eddie Goldman, tackle Elijah Wilkinson, linebacker Christian Jones and long snapper Patrick Scales on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Goldman, who opted out of the 2020 season due to COVID-19 concerns, was placed on the reserve list shortly after practice Tuesday at Soldier Field. The Bears later in the evening added Wilkinson, Jones and Scales. The team didn't specify whether the three additional players were close contacts.

It's not clear which players were previously vaccinated. Goldman addressed the media last week without a mask, an indication he's vaccinated. Unvaccinated players are subject to fines if they're not wearing a mask in a team facility. Wilkinson was wearing a mask during a media session last week.
