(670 The Score) The Bears will re-sign long snapper Scott Daly on a one-year deal, multiple sources said Tuesday.
Daly, 31, joined the Bears prior to last season. A Downers Grove product, he previously played three seasons with the Lions.
Daly's opportunity with the Bears in 2024 came after veteran long snapper Patrick Scales was placed on injured reserve due to back surgery. Scales isn't expected to be retained in Chicago. He has been with the team since 2015.
Scales played 120 games with the Bears. He's presently a free agent.
The Bears haven't yet made Daly's deal official.
