(670 The Score) The Bears have signed veteran linebacker Dylan Cole on a one-year deal, the team announced Thursday morning.
Full terms of the deal weren't immediately clear. The Bears hosted the 28-year-old Cole on a visit at Halas Hall on Wednesday.
Cole has played six NFL seasons, including four with the Texans and the last two with the Titans. He started eight games for Tennessee in 2022 but has primarily served as a key special teams player in his career, a role he'll likely continue in Chicago.
The Bears' addition of Cole comes after they lost linebackers Nicholas Morrow (Eagles) and Matt Adams (Browns) in free agency this week.
In a pair of high-profile additions in free agency last week, the Bears signed linebackers Tremaine Edmunds and T.J. Edwards.
