(670 The Score) The Bears will sign veteran defensive back Dane Cruikshank, his agent David Canter said Wednesday evening. Contract terms weren't immediately clear.

Cruikshank, 26, played 44 games for the Titans over the last four seasons. He started four games at safety last year.

A fifth-round pick of the Titans in 2018, Cruikshank was primarily a reserve in Tennessee while also serving a role on special teams.

The Bears have a void at safety alongside incumbent starter Eddie Jackson. Chicago re-signed DeAndre Houston-Carson to a one-year deal last week.

The Bears haven't yet made the signing of Cruikshank official.
