Source: Deon Bush to re-sign with Bears on 1-year deal

Bush has played in 65 career games with the Bears.

(670 The Score) The Bears will re-sign safety Deon Bush on a one-year deal, a source said Wednesday afternoon shortly after free agency officially opened. ESPN first reported the news.

Bush, 27, has been with the Bears since Chicago selected him in the fourth round of the 2016 draft. He has played in 65 career games, starting in eight.

Bush has mostly provided depth at safety and filled a key role on special teams during his career. He recorded his first career interception last season.
