(670 The Score) The Bears got good news on the injury front Wednesday as they began preparations for their game against the Bengals on Sunday.

Starting left tackle Jason Peters (quad) and nose tackle Eddie Goldman (knee/ankle) returned to practice, though both players were limited. It was a step forward for each, with Peters exiting during the second quarter of Chicago's loss at Los Angeles on Sunday and Goldman not making the trip.

Rookie offensive tackle Larry Borom (ankle), who replaced Peters on Sunday, didn't practice. The Bears signed tackle Alex Taylor to their practice squad Wednesday morning, perhaps in anticipation of Borom missing multiple games. Tight end Jimmy Graham didn't practice Wednesday while taking a veteran's day of rest.

The Bears also listed receiver Darnell Mooney (back), receiver Marquise Goodwin (quad) and linebacker Joel Iyiegbuniwe (shoulder) as full participants in practice.

The Bengals placed starting safety Ricardo Allen (hand) on injured reserve Wednesday, meaning he'll miss the game Sunday.

Kickoff between the Bears (0-1) and Bengals (1-0) comes at noon CT Sunday from Soldier Field.
