LAKE FOREST, Ill. (670 The Score) – Bears rookie running back Roschon Johnson remains sidelined with a concussion and hasn’t yet cleared the league’s protocol for a return.
Johnson suffered the concussion in the Bears’ win against the Commanders on Oct. 5. He hasn’t practiced since that game, and his status for Chicago’s contest against Las Vegas on Sunday is in doubt.
With top rusher Khalil Herbert (ankle) on injured reserve and Travis Homer (hamstring) still working back from his own injury, the Bears are expected to once again rely on veteran D’Onta Foreman as their lead back. Foreman had 15 carries for 65 yards in the Bears’ 19-13 loss to the Vikings last Sunday at Soldier Field.
Foreman was inactive for the five games prior to Sunday.
"It was my first game in a while," Foreman said. "No excuses, I'm just trying to get my footing, get everything back to being myself. Just little hiccups yesterday. Definitely some stuff that I can clean up. Nothing I'm really worried about. Just trying to figure out a way to be better."
Bears safety Eddie Jackson (foot) didn’t practice Thursday after being a limited participant Wednesday. Jackson reaggravated the injury Sunday after returning from a three-game absence.
The Bears continue to practice without right guard Nate Davis, who’s suffering from a high ankle sprain. Davis has already been ruled out for Sunday and could require a stint on injured reserve. Rookie offensive tackle Darnell Wright (shoulder) didn’t practice Thursday after being a limited participant Wednesday.
Veteran pass rusher Yannick Ngakoue (back) and Homer (hamstring) were each full participants in practice Thursday.
The Bears (1-5) and Raiders (3-3) kick off at noon CT on Sunday from Soldier Field.
