(670 The Score) Bears star cornerback Jaylon Johnson isn’t giving up hope just yet in a spiraling season in which Chicago has dropped to 4-6 amid an ongoing four-game losing streak, with the latest crushing defeat coming in the form of a 20-19 loss to the rival Packers on Sunday.
“At the end of the day, we’ve got plenty of opportunities to win some games,” Johnson said on the Spiegel & Holmes Show on Monday evening. “We’ve got some big-time teams coming up. Quite honestly, the probabilities are low for us, but statistically, it’s not over yet. We’ve just got to keep (chipping).
At the end of the day, we got opportunity to win the division still. Hopefully Detroit loses some games, of course, and then we can beat them twice and things like that. We’ve still got opportunities. It’s nothing to give up on. We just got to take it one game at a time. It’s definitely doable. There’s been teams that go on seven-game winning streaks at the end of the season. So I mean, it’s definitely doable, but it starts with one win at a time. We just got to find that one and carry that momentum and then really just keep going from there and chipping away one at a time.”
Johnson acknowledged that the Bears’ four-game losing streak is taking its toll.
"We've been getting punched in the face in a lot of different ways from a lot of different people,” Johnson said. “At this point, it's kind of (us) getting used to taking punches. We've got to figure out a way to throw some knockout punches ourselves.”

He also discussed what happened on the game-changing play late when he slipped while covering Packers receiver Christian Watson, who made a diving catch and then sprinted downfield for a 60-yard gain to set up Green Bay’s winning touchdown.
