(670 The Score) Defensive tackle Shemar Turner and offensive tackle Ozzy Trapilo have reached agreements with the Bears on their rookie contracts, according to reports Thursday.
The deals came as many 2025 second-round picks had remain unsigned in recent days as they negotiate for higher guaranteed money in their contracts than counterparts in years past.
Turner was selected No. 62 overall in the second round out of Texas A&M. He was second-team All-SEC in 2023. The Bears selected Trapilo at No. 56 overall out of Boston College. He projects to compete for the starting left tackle job in training camp.
The Bears haven't yet signed receiver Luther Burden III, another second-round pick of theirs.
