Bears add receiver/returner Devin Duvernay on a 1-year deal

(670 The Score) The Bears have added receiver/returner Devin Duvernay on a one-year deal, the team announced Wednesday afternoon.

Duvernay, 27, is a five-year NFL veteran who earned Pro Bowl honors in 2021 and 2022 as a returner. He has 105 career receptions and five touchdowns as a wide receiver along with a pair of return touchdowns.

Duvernay played for the Jaguars in 2024 after spending the previous four years with the Ravens. He was a third-round pick of Baltimore in the 2020 NFL Draft after a standout four-year college career at Texas.

In joining the Bears, Duvernay projects to be a gadget for head coach Ben Johnson's offense and to fill a prominent role in the return game on special teams.

In other news Wednesday, the Bears re-signed reserve running back Travis Homer on a one-year deal. He's a key special teams contributor.
