Tim Jenkins: Shane Waldron's offensive system is becoming one of the most interesting to watch in the NFL

(670 The Score) Quarterback guru and Jenkins Elite founder Tim Jenkins has done a 180 in his opinion of Bears offensive coordinator Shane Waldron in recent weeks.

Jenkins was plenty frustrated with Waldron’s play-calling in the Bears’ 1-2 start, but he believes Waldron is doing a good job during Chicago’s current three-game winning streak of establishing an identity and using concepts that set a defense up to be exploited later in the game.

“I was way too hard on Waldron in the beginning,” Jenkins said on the Bernstein & Harris Show on Wednesday. “There was a lot of stuff that I saw on tape where I was like, ‘This is bad.’ We’ve gotten to a point where it’s like, it used to the Dolphins for me that was the most exciting team to break down. The Bears are getting to the point where it’s like I’m most excited to see what they’re running and how I’m going to see this show up throughout the NFL in the next two weeks. Because you guys know, it’s a copycat league. We’ll see that screen they ran up the seam with (Cole) Kmet for a touchdown, we’ll see that four more times this season because other teams are going to steal it.”

The Bears are averaging 24.7 points per game, which ranks 12th in the NFL. Listen to Jenkins’ full interview in the YouTube video above this story.
