Bernstein & Harris: What should the Bears offer for All-Pro edge rusher Trey Hendrickson on the trade market?

(670 The Score) Another high-profile player has become available, as the Bengals have granted All-Pro edge rusher Trey Hendrickson permission to seek a trade.

The Bears have a need to at edge rusher, so speculation has naturally included them. Hendrickson, 30, had an NFL-high 17.5 sacks in 2024, when he earned All-Pro honors and his fourth Pro Bowl nod. He has 77 sacks in 110 career games across eight NFL seasons.

Hendrickson has one year left on his contract, so an acquisition of him would presumably come with the intention of signing him to a contract extension. With that in mind, what would be reasonable for the Bears to offer the Bengals to acquire him? And what would be too much?

Dan Bernstein and Marshall Harris debated that. Check it out in the video player above.
