Blackhawks acquire Corey Perry from Lightning in exchange for a 7th-round pick

(670 The Score) The Blackhawks continued their busy Thursday by acquiring a veteran for a late-round draft pick.

Chicago acquired 38-year-old winger Corey Perry from Tampa Bay in exchange for a 2024 seventh-round pick. Perry is set to become an unrestricted free agent Saturday, but the Blackhawks intend to sign him and have the exclusive negotiating window for the next two days.

Perry had 25 points (12 goals, 13 assists) in 81 games for the Lightning last season. He has 883 points (417 goals, 466 assists) in 1,257 NHL games in an 18-year career.
