In his first home game at United Center, Alex Caruso gets 'MVP' chant from Bulls fans

CHICAGO (670 The Score) – Bulls guard Alex Caruso had only scored five points as a member of his new team when the home crowd began its campaign for a lofty honor.

In his first regular-season game at the United Center as a member of the Bulls, Caruso was serenaded with an “MVP” chant while shooting a free throw in the second quarter of Chicago’s eventual 128-112 win against New Orleans on Friday. The chant came after Caruso had finished a nifty layup in transition and was fouled as the Bulls took a 17-point lead.

Afterward, everyone got a good chuckle out of the scene. Caruso joined the Bulls on a four-year contract in the offseason and is the team's sixth man. He had nine points and three assists Friday after scoring three points in the season opener Wednesday.
