(670 The Score) Bulls reserve guard Coby White has tested positive for COVID-19, coach Billy Donovan told reporters Wednesday.

White won’t travel with the Bulls for their two-game road trip out East to face the Knicks on Thursday and Nets on Saturday. He figures to be sidelined for longer than that as well. Players who test positive must sit out 10 days or until they produce two negative PCR tests in a 24-hour period. Bulls center Nikola Vucevic recently missed two weeks after testing positive for COVID-19.

White, 21, is averaging 6.1 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists. He has played in just nine games after missing the start of the regular season while in the final stages of rehab from shoulder surgery in the offseason. White is struggling with his shot, shooting 34.9% overall and 22.6% on 3-pointers.

Reserve guard Ayo Dosunmu will likely get more minutes in White’s absence.

The Bulls are fully vaccinated as a team, NBC Sports Chicago has previously reported.
