(670 The Score) Bulls rookie forward Patrick Williams has shown respect to All-Star center Nikola Vucevic, whom Chicago acquired in a blockbuster trade with Orlando on Thursday.
Williams will give up his No. 9 jersey to Vucevic, who has worn the number since he joined the Magic in 2012. Vucevic wore No. 8 as a rookie with the 76ers in 2011-’12. Williams initially chose to wear No. 9 in Chicago after he wore No. 4 at Florida State.
The other new Bulls additions have chosen their numbers as well. Center Daniel Theis will wear No. 27, guard Javonte Green will wear No. 11, wing Troy Brown Jr. will wear No. 7 and forward Al-Farouq Aminu will wear No. 5.
