(670 The Score) Bulls starting forward Patrick Williams suffered a left shoulder strain in Chicago’s win at Detroit on Wednesday, Rob Schaefer of NBC Sports Chicago reported.

Williams appeared to get banged up on a play in the second quarter when he dove on the floor for a loose ball. He remained in the game. Williams is expected to be listed as questionable to play when the Bulls host the Pelicans on Friday, NBC Sports Chicago reported. The Bulls don't view the injury as severe, coach Billy Donovan told reporters.

Williams had six points and one rebound in 28 minutes Wednesday.
He missed most of training camp with a severe ankle sprain.
