(670 The Score) The Cubs have avoided arbitration with all six of their players who were eligible for it.
Chicago reached one-year deals with ace Justin Steele ($4 million), right-hander Adbert Alzolay ($2.11 million), outfielder Mike Tacuhamn ($1.95 million), infielder Nick Madrigal ($1.81 million), reliever Mark Leiter Jr. ($1.5 million) and reliever Julian Merryweather ($1.175 million), sources told 670 The Score reporter Bruce Levine.
Those agreements were just part of the Cubs activities Thursday, when they also acquired third baseman Michael Busch and reliever Yency Almonte in a trade with the Dodgers.
