Ozzie Guillen on woeful White Sox: 'I don’t think they’re going to win another game for the rest of the season'

(670 The Score) At 31-109 with 22 games remaining in their season, the White Sox are on pace to set – and perhaps shatter – the MLB record for losses in a single season.

In the mind of former White Sox manager and current NBC Sports Chicago analyst Ozzie Guillen, the White Sox have no hope of avoiding that ignominy. In fact, he fears the White Sox may not win another game the rest of the season.

“Watch out, they might not win another game for the rest of the season,” Guillen said on the Mully & Haugh Show on Wednesday morning. “The way they play, I don’t think they’re going to win another game for the rest of the season.”

After a 9-0 setback to the Orioles on Tuesday, the White Sox have lost 12 straight games and are 5-45 in their past 50 games. They’re on pace to go 36-126. The 1962 Mets currently hold the record with 120 losses in a single season. They went 40-120 in a 160-game season.

"This is embarrassing," Guillen said.
