Watch: Tim Anderson makes over-the-shoulder catch out of nowhere to get White Sox out of jam

(670 The Score) White Sox right-hander Lance Lynn can thank shortstop Tim Anderson for helping him get out of a jam against the Twins on Monday.

With runners on first and second and two outs in the top of the third inning, Anderson came from seemingly out of nowhere to make a running over-the-shoulder catch on a pop-up in no man’s land in short left field off the bat of Twins outfielder Trevor Larnach. Anderson started the play on the first-base side of the second-base bag as the White Sox shifted for the lefty-hitting Larnach, and then he just appeared at the perfect time as left fielder Andrew Vaughn wasn't going to get to the ball.

“That’s a winning baseball play from a first-place club,” White Sox television play-by-play man Jason Benetti said.
