(670 The Score) The White Sox have acknowledged it’s a balancing act between monitoring the workload of a few ailing star players and pushing for home-field advantage in the first round of the MLB playoffs as the regular-season winds down.

In the latest development of the plan they’ve formulated to best position themselves for the playoffs, the White Sox intend to start left-hander Carlos Rodon two more times in the regular season, James Fegan of the Athletic and Scott Merkin of MLB.com reported Thursday.
